We celebrated our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday here, and the hotel gave us two bottles of champagne, which was lovely. The place sits in its own little town, mostly surrounded by locals, and that made the experience even better for us. We’re a gay couple and seemed to be the only ones in town, haha, though it didn’t bother us. It might matter to someone who wants to be surrounded by their own community. The hotel itself was amazing, from the food and views to the staff. One thing we learned: we rented a car, but the drive up the mountain was scary, so we won’t do that again when we return.

The connecting door to the neighboring room let both light and noise through, so there was almost no privacy and I couldn’t sleep properly. That had a big effect on my stay, and it’s the reason I’d give the room one star. The hotel itself was very good otherwise. The property is beautiful and breakfast was excellent.

We stayed for a week and will return. Breakfast with the view is unique, and the hotel service was great. The staff helped as much as they could. We did miss a few basic things in the room, like slippers or a toothbrush, though there are enough places to get those. The room cleaning was sometimes good and sometimes not quite clean enough. That was our only disappointment.

The atmosphere at Universal Hotel Aquamarin was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our clean, comfortable room was well maintained. Right by the beach, the location is hard to beat, with stunning views too. A great place for a peaceful getaway. I’d definitely come back.

We had a very nice deluxe room, and the hotel has a great location, wonderful staff and an amazing breakfast. They do scrimp on supplies, though: there was just one coffee pod per person for the whole stay. Topping up the coffee and other simple supplies each day would make a big difference. Other than that, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it 🤩
