The place was clean, and the staff weren't unfriendly, but the hostal seems stuck decades in the past and could really use an update. There's no lift to the rooms, so keep that in mind if stairs are difficult for you. Anglès itself wasn't worth a visit, unfortunately.

Really good room for the price, and the staff were super lovely. They’re bike friendly too :)

The owners were so friendly, and they cook excellent meals. We got a great room at a superb off-season price, exactly the small-town experience I’d hoped for.

We stopped overnight while travelling through Spain. The hostel was clean and lovely, the staff were very friendly, and our dog was made to feel welcome. It’s close to town amenities, and I’d definitely recommend it 👍
