The shower wouldn’t drain, and after the first use the tub filled with water. I had to fetch my toolbox from the car and take apart the siphon. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The door to the shower and toilet room wouldn’t close either. There was a bad smell in the bedroom as soon as we entered. With the automatic booking, the receptionist shut the office in front of us and drove off with her boyfriend. Nobody on the phone spoke English, so my wife spent an hour trying to reach someone to get the room code and key. Avoid this place!

The staff were amazing, and there’s a pool. It’s a cheaper option near Ampuries, with simple but well-equipped rooms. You can hear some road noise because it’s close to the road.

A quiet rural spot with a nice view, and L'Escala is not far away.

Good beer, a pool, friendly staff, and a nice place for a short stay.
