The location was fabulous, close to the subway, the city center, and Turia Park. The apartment was spacious, with a dishwasher and washing machine. We weren’t checked in at the apartment. The day before, we got a text saying we had to walk 20 minutes with our suitcases to a hotel to collect the keys, then work everything out for ourselves once we got there. The owners also weren’t very hospitable when we asked about an earlier check-in or leaving our luggage. Our questions were either ignored or met with a no, with no alternative offered. There were lots of guest rules, including taking out the trash and washing all the dishes, with a hefty deposit charge if you didn’t. Even so, dirty dishes from the previous guests were left in the dishwasher. The bathroom smelled like sewage the whole time, so we had to keep the door shut to stop the odor spreading through the apartment. The place was quite dark even during the day, and the dated interior needs an update. The beds were so hard that we slept on top of the covers to avoid making our hip and back pain worse. Noise from the apartments above was a problem, too. We could hear people walking around and using the toilet. We won’t be coming back.

The apartment had been newly refurbished and was very nice, in a great location. Just keep in mind it’s on the fifth floor with no elevator. That’s quite a climb if you’ve got lots of luggage or mobility issues.

The wider area is good, but the immediate location is awful, down a dark, smelly back street. The entrance looked like something from a horror movie, and the apartment felt like a damp, dirty, smelly basement. Facilities were broken and there were no bathroom doors. It’s the worst place I’ve ever visited.

There was plenty of space, and the apartment was lovely, central, and very clean. The staff were excellent.

The Wi-Fi worked, and it’s centrally located near Colon metro station. Beyond that, the apartment was in terrible shape. Everything felt old and poorly maintained. The photos combine several apartments, but Bisbe 10 is a small two-room place on the second floor with old furnishings. The sofa bed was so hard and awkward to make that it was worse than a 1980s train bed. There was no cleaning during our four days, and the owner was unavailable. The 1980s AC was only in the bedroom, there was no heating, and the French doors wouldn’t close. The bathroom and bedroom handles were broken, and the TV didn’t work.
