Apartamentos Living Valencia-Vitoria

A lovely little apartment right in the city center. The host was friendly and helpful.

You can hear absolutely everything here. It’s an old building in the middle of the city, and the beds are extremely uncomfortable, both the double and the sofa bed. The location itself is perfect, and the apartment was clean and had good equipment. But it’s not suitable for anyone with even minor mobility problems, or for families with children or babies. The stairs are very narrow, high, and steep. We also didn’t have enough towels for our five-day stay: one each, plus a single hand and face towel to share.

The apartment is basic, with little natural light and adequate comfort, though the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Its location is very good. We stayed four nights in a place meant for four people, and there was just one hand towel for all of us, although everyone had a large towel. There’s no washing machine in the apartment, only one in the building, which is inconvenient for tourists. And, as seems common with apartments like these, they only give you one key for every two people. Very inconvenient!

The sofa bed was broken and pretty uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was awful. It didn’t work on the floor where we were staying. They openly charged €30 for cleaning after the booking was already closed, even though the apartment was full of sand. At the very least, I think that fee should have been returned. The three stars are for the excellent location, the kitchen items, and the clean sheets.
