Casa Úrsula

The room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was nice.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the place was clean, cozy, and felt just like home. It’s very quiet here. The owner is friendly and helpful, and puts together a great breakfast before you head out on one of the wonderful routes through the Ansó and Echo valleys. We’ll be back, highly recommended.

The village is gorgeous, one of the most beautiful in Spain, and my stay itself was fine. Still, the rooms are missing things like a hairdryer and TV. It’s a large shared house where the owner lives, which may not suit everyone. The price felt steep, around €50 a night, and the repeated reminders to keep noise down left me whispering and made things uncomfortable. Of course, you should be considerate in shared accommodation, but she emphasized it many times. The owner is attentive and serves breakfast with plenty of variety and care, though it’s in her own living room, which she sets up for the meal.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the owner made us feel right at home. She also gave us useful suggestions for exploring the area. The village may be small, but it has a lively feel and is well worth visiting. We’d love to come back.
