Casa Rural El Moral

The pool was the one decent part, though its steps were loose and plenty of floor tiles were coming away. We left right away, and the owner wouldn't offer anything. It felt like a rip-off. The rest of the place was in awful shape: stains on the bedding and garden cushions, flies everywhere, and dead ones across the floor. There were about twenty flies at each window. The beds had been sprayed with insect repellent before we arrived, leaving a strong chemical smell, and one bed was only half made with a stained duvet. The photos and older positive reviews make it look like it was once nice, but they don't reflect how it is now. Faded glory sums up this B&B.

We spent a fantastic week out in nature. It was hot in the day and cool at night, so bring a jacket. The house feels new and is very well cared for, with decor that suits a country home while still being comfortable. Everything was spotless, especially appreciated at this time of year, and the kitchenware is so new you can tell it's been looked after. Antonio was kind and attentive, thank you!

The outdoor setup was a highlight, with two places to eat, a fenced pool and a Balinese bed for lounging. There’s parking right on the property. The house is modern but still has charm, and feels as comfortable as home. It’s nicely tucked away while still near supermarkets and cultural attractions. Our host was warm and helpful. We have one more day here and already want to come back.

Nights get chilly, but a good fire makes for a lovely evening under the stars. We had a great time, and Antonio is a really nice guy.
