You’ll need a car to reach this hidden gem, since public transport could be difficult. Once there, you get spectacular terrace views and comfortable apartments surrounded by nature. It’s a lovely area for hiking, biking, running, kayaking, or swimming in the lakes. Rikke and Michael were wonderful hosts. It’s also well placed for day trips to Ronda and caminito del rey.

If you’re after a quiet, simple stay in nature, this is a great place. The lake views from the outdoor terrace are wonderful, and there are excellent hiking trails nearby. Set between the mountains and the lake, the location has incredible views. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and good, though I’d have liked a little more indoor space. The sleeping, living, and kitchen areas are all combined.

We loved our stay in this peaceful spot. The hosts were nice, and the view was beautiful. There are lots of hikes nearby, and it’s a great base for walking the Caminito del Rey.

There’s a mini market on site with basics like pasta, pesto, and wine, which is handy if you forget to shop. The nearest supermarket is quite a drive away, so it’s better to stop on the way in. We really enjoyed staying here. There’s good climbing nearby that you can reach on foot, though most of the region’s crags involve a bit of driving. Still, this place is well worth it.
