Finca Sábila

We enjoyed being back so much, even with a few rain showers. The bed on the terras turned out to be a brilliant idea. Settling into those soft cushions with a good book and a glass of Cava is such a lovely way to spend time. Stress just disappears at la Finca Sábila. We're grateful to Maria and Francisco for letting us share this beautiful place. In the mornings, Manolo is around to show us the garden's splendid spots.

Out in a lovely rural spot, this place feels tucked away. The stars look brilliant from the jacuzzi, especially with a nice local wine in hand.

The outdoor areas are the real highlight at Finca Sabila: little terraces everywhere, each comfortable, with fragrant flowers and carefully tended plants. The jacuzzi is the finishing touch. Inside, the house is tastefully furnished and has everything you need to feel at home. You're surrounded by nature, yet close to town and the magnificent cliffs of Chorro. Francisco was courteous, precise and a pleasure to meet. Manolo, who looks after the garden and orchard, was attentive but discreet, and left us lovely little treats like figs, almonds and honey. A perfect holiday, one I'd recommend to anyone.

We wanted somewhere charming and out of the way where we could unwind, and this little house was just right. It has lots of character and is equipped with everything we needed. The views are incredible, and we spent time on the porch, in the jacuzzi, on the Balinese bed at night, and wandering among the vegetable gardens and olive trees. Even in the rain, the mild weather and outdoor terraces made it easy to enjoy being outside. Maria and Francisco were adorable hosts and always made us feel at home. Thanks so much for everything. As we told you, we'll be back.
