The hotel was quiet and clean, with friendly staff, and the sheets and towels were changed daily. Our upgraded room came with a mini fridge stocked each day with water tango and beer, plus a kettle, coffee and tea, but no milk. It was a reasonable size and comfortable, with air conditioning and a Juliet balcony. The bathroom was roomy, with a bidet and shower, though the shower leaked because it wasn’t fitted properly, and the sink oddly had no plug. The pool was tiny, enough for two people, and towels were provided. Free water at reception was very warm. We skipped breakfast because we didn’t like the look of it. There’s a supermarket a five minute walk through.

The rooftop terrace is a nice place to sit. I didn’t go near the pool, though it looked more like a dipping pool than one for swimming. The rooms were very clean and the staff really nice. You’re not far from the center and the castle. The church bell is close by, so be ready to hear it regularly if it wakes you up. Would recommend.

It’s a peaceful spot close to the Municipal Museum and Ferdinand I monument, and not far from the Tourist Office. Our ground floor room had a great shower. Breakfast was fine, but I wouldn’t bother choosing between buffet and antequerano. Just pay for the buffet and fill up on coffee and the rest.

We could walk to lots of cute restaurants nearby, and they stayed open late. We ate well, had drinks in the plaza just outside, then only had to stumble a few feet back to our room. Adorable hotel, with nice rooms and a great location.

The rooftop pool was a nice touch, and there were complimentary drinks in the room. Everything is close by, especially the castle and church, just a few minutes’ walk. The hotel was beautifully clean, with great rooms, air conditioning, lovely shutters and views. I’d book again.
