The palace and gardens were close by, and there were shops for groceries plus little outdoor cafés for breakfast or late tapas. That made it easy to arrange meals so everyone could eat in or go out. We came from the USA for our daughter's wedding, with eight family members and ten of us altogether in Spain. Everyone had room to themselves. My daughter and her two young children stayed on the top floor, which gave them more privacy in case the kids cried. It was a lovely wedding and family reunion, and the place worked perfectly for us.

Having a washer and dryer was a real bonus, and the air conditioning could be controlled ourselves. The place was clean and roomy, and I felt at home there. Coming from the USA, I’m used to air conditioning being common, but apparently that isn’t always the case in Spain. Loved it. Five stars for sure.

How are the beds made so poorly, with dirty sheets? I don't understand how this can happen.

The location was the one good part of my stay at Alsmello. The bathroom smelled awful, and even the floors felt softer than the bed. It took several days for anyone to come check the problem. They tried to fix it but couldn't, and management never followed up. I got worn out from calling the office about it. I just wanted to leave. I'd already paid for the room and was willing to give up that money, but every other place I called was full.

Parking was available in front or next door whenever we got back from visiting places. The accommodation was spotless and everything felt new, with a great shower and bathroom, a kitchen that worked well for cooking, a smart TV, a balcony, and air conditioning that was just right. It's in a really good spot in Aranjuez. We loved staying here, it went beyond what we expected, and we'll be back when we're in the Madrid area.
