Hostal rural Masia el Buxaus Montseny

We only got one night here, sadly, but hope to come back soon. The bedroom, walks, food, fire, and location were all perfect. Montse and Jordi were so kind and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay last week.

The hosts made us feel like family, and their son Miki cooked delicious meals for us. Meeting Montse, her husband, and Miki was the best part of staying at this beautiful old inn. They're very special people, and it was a special experience. We spent time walking in the forest with the dogs, swimming in the pool on the terrace above the buildings, and playing pingpong in the portal. The gardens were beautiful, with views over wide valleys and mountain ridges to the east. We also had plenty of time to rest.

We've returned every year since this old farmhouse opened because the whole experience is so relaxing. The gardens and atmosphere are lovely, the pool house has lots of games, and the three dogs are happy to join walks and show the way. The views are fantastic, and the host family are uniquely warm and welcoming. The food is authentic, freshly prepared, delicious, and made with regional ingredients. It's a magical place.

A wonderful getaway. The views were amazing, and hiking with the three dogs was such fun. The fresh food was delicious, the accommodations were perfect and interesting, and Montse, Miquel, and Jordy looked after us with real warmth.
