I asked about booking a room for one person for one night, and whether English was spoken. The call was passed to someone else, who suddenly seemed unable to hear me.

The noise was extreme, and the loud music kept going past 11 pm despite assurances it would stop. We had to complain again, and one person in our group even changed rooms because of an unexplained noise. The bathroom was mouldy and smelled of drains, breakfast wasn't available at the stated time, and the staff were unfriendly. Terrible service overall. The worst hotel I've stayed in. Give it a miss.

The people in this lovely little town are humble and generous, and we were treated exceptionally well at the bar we visited. I have no complaints about this wonderful village, and I'd encourage people to see it.
