I booked one night with the owner over WhatsApp. She told me the price, when to pay, and the arrival and departure times. Three days before the stay, my husband was admitted to hospital with renal colic, so I let her know we couldn't come. She said I still had to pay for the night. I understand the booking couldn't go ahead, with or without a fee. My issue is that no cancellation deadline or charge was mentioned when I booked, and the website doesn't say there are fees or what they cost. These terms need to be clear. Please update the website and tell guests the cancellation deadlines and amounts when booking, just as you give them the prices and check-in times.

We had a fantastic three-day stay, and being able to bring our pet was the icing on the cake. The supplement was a reasonable €5/day. The rustic house had everything we needed, and the space felt just right for a couple, perhaps with one or two children. The welcome was extraordinary, even though we arrived late at night after work. The village is large and lively, with lots of hiking trails nearby and good mushroom-picking. I doubt you'd find the same conditions for a better price.

The service was so friendly, and the staff were incredibly kind. This cozy little house has loads of charm, with its living-room fireplace for the colder months. It feels like stepping into another era while still having modern comforts.

The bedbug and flea problem was the worst part. We were covered in bites, had to visit the health center, and are still receiving treatment. The owner offered no solution and said we had brought the bedbugs ourselves. She was rude, wouldn't let us speak, and blamed guests for everything. We'd booked five nights in the last week of August but left early because we couldn't cope with the itching and disgust. The house was dirty, dusty, and damp, with an old musty smell. Furniture and belongings were old and dirty, things were left lying around, and dust covered everything. The kitchenware was greasy and badly washed, then put away in disgusting old cupboards. I'm giving one star only so I can post this review. It doesn't deserve one.
