We chose this place partly because it was a good price and we could stay in an old castle. The castle, grounds, and surrounding views were all very scenic. After flying in from Canada to Madrid, we drove for a few hours before stopping here. Staff were very friendly, and we were given a bottle of wine after check-in. Our room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. We ate at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed it, especially breakfast and the crushed tomato spread. That was amazing! I'd definitely stay again.

It's such a quiet spot near Madrid, perfect for relaxing and eating really well. I'd certainly come back. A couple of things need attention: the Wi-Fi didn't work in some bedrooms, and the heating wasn't enough. We weren't allowed to use the fireplaces either.

They cancelled my reservation without a good reason. It was terrible and would have thrown my itinerary into a mess, but I found a better hotel.

The place has a spectacular view and a fantastic atmosphere. The service let it down, though, as it didn't feel especially warm or welcoming.
