We visited over the August bank holiday weekend and found a small, very welcoming hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is a modest buffet but good quality, with fresh juice. From the outskirts of town, you can walk to central O Grove, the port, La Toja Island, or a quiet place to relax. I'd definitely stay again.

The views are lovely, and the estuary is just a few steps away. Great value for the money, with especially friendly staff at breakfast. Everyone was very nice.

The staff were all quite nice, but this was a bad experience for us. We were moved to a much noisier room in the middle of our trip, and our baby had trouble adjusting. None of us slept well. If guests might have to change rooms, that should be made clear when they book, not after they arrive.

The room's unforgettable view of La Toja Island was one of the best parts of our stay. This is an older, classic-style hotel, but it has a welcoming, authentic feel and plenty of character. The building itself is quite impressive. The breakfast buffet was better than I'd expect for its category, with quality products and excellent service from young, attentive, professional waiters. At reception, the staff were discreet, efficient, and very friendly, giving us all the information we needed in a few minutes. Highly recommended. I'd love to come back.

We couldn't make it because of the fires in Zamora, but the owner, her nephew, her daughter, and the rest of the hotel staff were incredibly understanding and kind. Many thanks to them. We'll see you next year!
