The staff were so friendly, and the building has lovely wooden details. I brought my two dogs and found a riverside walk pretty close by.

We ended up here on the night of February 2, 2019, while trying to get back to Calahonda, Mijas Costa. Heavy snow had closed all the roads, and police told us to head back toward Santander or find somewhere to stay. After about an hour of searching, we found this B&B, though there were no signs showing where it was. The reviews seemed okay, so we asked if a room was available. There was just one left, with two single beds, and with the weather getting worse we took it. The room was freezing. When I mentioned it, the owner said the heating was on, so I expected it to warm up, but it didn't. The heating went off at 11, and it was too late to complain by then. We piled the blankets on one bed and slept in our clothes, but barely slept at all. We left at first light. The bathroom bin was still full of rubbish, and the hot water took more than 15 minutes to get warm, so we didn't shower. We tried to speak with the owner in the morning, but she spoke very little English, so we gave up. I can't understand how this place gets four stars. Not good at all.
