The staff were rude.

We stayed in the penthouse, and it was just right, with new furniture and everything we needed. We arrived well before check-in, but they let us have the keys early. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back.

The room was spotless, and the service was excellent. They kept checking whether we needed anything and suggested places to visit. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return.

In the middle of winter, we had a cold shower, and the beds had no duvets or covers. When we told the owner about the water, she gave us a huge telling-off. We were on a cycling trip, and she charged us to store our bikes. Then she invited us to leave the hostel. In all my years of traveling with or without a bike, I’ve never been in a situation like this. That’s no way to treat people when you run a business.
