Casa Rural Araiko Etxea

We’ve come here three times now and have already booked for next year. It works well for what we need, and the owner and her family are very friendly. A great base when visiting Vitoria.

We were a group of 19 and stayed for four days. The house was even better than it looked in the photos, with roomy bedrooms that have their own bathrooms and a well-equipped living and dining area. Isabel and her family were wonderful. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We had a terrible time and don’t plan to return. The house is shared with the owners, so there’s no privacy at all. They advertise a garden, but it’s tiny, practically nonexistent, and the pool can’t be used. When it’s windy, the barbecue is unusable too. The owners were constantly coming and going, which made us feel watched. There’s even a basketball hoop, but they wouldn’t let us play. The owner was extremely rude and kept hovering around, leaving us uncomfortable. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.

We found the place by chance and stayed for three nights. It’s peaceful and close to Vitoria, and the Isabels, mother and daughter, run the rural guesthouse really well. Everything was spotless and made the stay feel just like home.
