Andres's breakfast was so filling and good value that it was the first hotel breakfast in three years to leave me completely full. He also took time to show us around the local area, with a free drink and snacks while he did, and made sure our room was exactly what we'd asked for. He was an amazing host. I'll definitely come back with my father when he visits in June. Keep it up, Andres.

The rooms were spotless, and breakfast was generous and complete. Andrés was wonderfully kind, which really rounded off the stay. We spent two nights here and loved how quiet and peaceful the estate felt, almost as if time had stopped. The river nearby adds to the sense of getting away from everything. The grounds and surrounding area are spectacular. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

If you're after a relaxing stay, this is the place. The river is right beside it, perfect for a refreshing swim. Andrés was always looking out for us, a real gem, and Ángel was phenomenal. And Brotos is the best dog in the world!

The grounds are spacious and gated, with a pool and access to a small private beach by the river. Inside, the rooms are quite dark and traditionally furnished. Breakfast has a limited selection, though there was enough for a good start to the day. Andrés, the owner, is around at breakfast for practical questions and tips on things to see nearby. It's an interesting stay, unlike other hotels I've been to, and feels more like a guesthouse because you deal directly with the owner, who's genuinely kind and attentive. Use Google Maps to find it if you can, since a GPS doesn't always get you to the property.

Breakfast is the only meal served, so you'll need to go into the nearby village for other food, or pick something up and eat it in the gardens. The hotel El Marquesito is set in nature beside a river with natural pools, and it's a great place to truly unwind. The facilities, decor, atmosphere, and peace are all excellent, as is the owner's service.
