Posada del Infante Posada Real

Our meal was a 10, as always. We chose the menu ourselves, and they adapted dishes so everyone’s needs could be met. The staff were so attentive and kind. We already knew Gaspar, and as ever he treated us like family. Pilar deserves a mention too, she helped us so much and is such a happy, joyful person. We celebrated my niece’s baptism at Posada del Infante and couldn’t have asked for more. The weather didn’t cooperate, but the way we were treated more than made up for it. The gardens looked beautiful, so it was a shame the rain meant we couldn’t use them for photos. The indoor halls were fantastic and spacious, and we came away with wonderful memories. We’ll see you again soon, and then we’ll need to talk about my wedding!

We’d had our reservation confirmed by phone twice, but when we arrived at the restaurant in a torrential downpour with a small child, the gate was locked. After five minutes the manager came out and said we couldn’t eat because we weren’t guests. We showed him the missed calls on our phones, but even though the number was the restaurant’s, he insisted they couldn’t have confirmed our reservation. We couldn’t believe it. We asked if they’d let us eat given the storm, and he smiled broadly and said no. Leaving customers stranded after confirming a reservation is one of the worst things I’ve seen. Shameful. We’ll never return or recommend the place.

Nuria, her daughter, and the waitresses were all lovely. They gave us plenty of tourist tips and good advice. They were also very attentive to hygiene during the Covid situation and served us at our table. I don’t know if that’s the usual routine, but we were completely satisfied. My mother and I stayed for six days, then my husband and children joined us for another day. We tried both the double and family rooms, and both were deluxe. The decor was thoughtful, the beds and pillows very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay.

We felt very comfortable here. The accommodation was clean, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. A lovely spot in a privileged part of Castile and León, and a great example of rural tourism. Congratulations to the owners and everyone who works here.
