From the lovely room to the lovely hosts, it was a great stay. The setting is peaceful, high above the town with views over the surrounding area.

A lovely place to stay if you want a taste of Spain. It felt like a real Spanish experience.

Paco's suggestions made a real difference to our visit. He put together routes that suited our tastes and showed us hidden corners of the Matarraña region we might otherwise have missed. You can tell he knows the area deeply and loves sharing it. We felt at ease from the start thanks to Paco and Carmen's wonderful hospitality. They genuinely care about their guests, and the country house is welcoming, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful, just right for switching off. It was an unforgettable stay. La Contrada is an ideal place to stay in the Matarraña region, and we’ll definitely be back.

We had such wonderful days with you, and you made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful, the setting breathtaking, and the people amazing. We don’t know whether we’ll meet again, but we won’t forget you.

We were upgraded to a better room when we arrived, and the team gave us recommendations for places to visit. The house is beautiful, spotless, and a place you can really enjoy. Our room had a lovely view to wake up to, and the bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent and attentive throughout, and it wasn’t expensive at all. Breakfast was our least favorite part, though still very good, with cold cuts, jams, and cakes. We only wish we’d stayed longer, and hope to return!
