The location is good and the room was nice, but it got extremely hot. There's no air conditioning or fan, and the only window is small and sits above the bar's air conditioning unit. Getting in through the bar is awkward and not very accessible. There's no elevator either, so you have to carry all your luggage up the stairs. That would be especially difficult with children. Maybe it would be better in winter, when the room isn't so hot.

A great value at a very friendly hostal, and a good choice for pilgrims. My room was clean and recently renovated, and the location is central. I had questions about the bus times and where to catch it, and the proprietor showed me the stop and the time.

The place was packed and had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made a separate plate for us, though they don't have gluten-free bread. We thought the group menu was rather expensive for the food we got. Still, it was good.

We only spent one night in the triple room, which had loads of space, with one large bed and one single. The bathroom was right beside it and had a big bathtub. The hostel is basic but has what you need. Its location makes it easy to walk around central Arévalo, enjoy the local food, and explore the streets.
