We stayed at Hotel Traina from May 1st to 3rd, 2026, and the quiet setting, good location, comfortable rooms, and help from Joaquín and his team made it worth considering if you're not too fussy. The rooms are modern, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and Smart TVs. Breakfast is a simple but good buffet, and the basic relaxation area has a jet pool and sauna included in the price. It's a two-star place with some shortcomings, so expectations matter. Some negative reviews seem to expect Hotel Londres or the Ritz for "four euros," which doesn't seem fair. Check the photos and judge for yourself. If you're a real foodie looking for excellent fish, La Traina restaurant is in another part of Argoños. One suggestion: the outdoor pool area needs maintenance, and apparently it's only available in summer. To see part of the relaxation area, search YouTube or Google for the vertical video "lancha rc relax hotel traina". Hotel recommended by YouTuber TXEMACLICK.

The reviews had me expecting something else, but we had a great stay. For a two-star hotel, everything was fantastic and the service was excellent.
We got there and found nobody at the hotel. After we called, someone arrived about 15 minutes later to hand over the room, and told us the spas weren't working. The place was dirty and really shabby. A terrible experience all around, and one I wouldn't repeat.
The cleaning staff were very friendly, and the man who brought us the keys after we called was nice too. Beyond that, I have little good to say. The website photos don't match what the place is actually like, and calling it a "Spa" is a joke. Health officials should visit this "hotel" more often. People come and go with no control. There were holes in the walls, cramped rooms, impractical furniture, and no one at reception unless you called. I could keep listing things.
Thanks for the reviews. I was going to go, but after reading the comments I'll save myself the trip.
