We had a lovely weekend break from the city's noise. The hotel has a cozy, homey style, and our room was clean and beautiful. Staff were super kind, helpful, and spoke several languages. We had the jacuzzi to ourselves and enjoyed breakfast in the morning. The spa is small, but just right for relaxing. You can also borrow a hotel bike to ride around the village if you want. Recommended!

We spent three nights in a deluxe room at Ynaira Hotel & Spa, with a terrace and private jacuzzi. The room was clean, modern, well equipped, and had a minibar. Having our own jacuzzi felt like a real luxury, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They also provided beach towels, a thoughtful extra for a visit to nearby Platja de Muro, about a 15-minute drive away. A couple of things could be improved. The room information mentions the hotel's commitment to Spain's sustainability law, but the complimentary shower gel, hand soap, and body lotion were made in the People's Republic of China. Locally made, more environmentally conscious products would fit that policy better. Breakfast was simple and satisfying. You can order extra egg dishes, though it wasn't clear at first what was available. The waitress explained the choices on our first morning. A small menu on the table would make the options clearer and add a personal touch.

The rooms and breakfast were lovely, and the hotel itself is lovely too. The spa is compact and modern, though we had to switch on the sauna and steam room ourselves. No one mentioned that when we booked at reception. The main issue was the hotel's policy of not having A/C from November. The weather was still warm, and our room got very hot, especially on the second floor in direct sun all day, even with the window open. We struggled to sleep and came home tired, which put a damper on the holiday. If A/C matters to you, keep this in mind before booking here in autumn.

The setting and hotel are beautiful, and there were some real positives. The bed was very comfortable, the rainhead shower was lovely, the fridge was nice and large, and heloise on reception was kind and sweet. It was nice that the small spa was reserved for only four people at a time. The gym was well equipped, and the communal areas felt rustic and cozy. It was also a quiet, relaxing setting. Still, our stay was a bit disappointing because so many small details were lacking. There was no bin in the main room or makeup station. Some towels had stains, and the replacements were damp. The half-boarded wardrobes in the bedroom looked odd. Breakfast staff were slow and inattentive, there were no UK channels on the TV, and the tea and coffee station was never replenished. Cleaners were noisy at 6am and didn't lock the room when they left. There was no staff in the building between 7pm and morning, and the steam room was out of order for all four days. On arrival, we found small bits of shattered glass on the floor. Someone came to clean it, but the next morning there was a fairly large piece on the shower floor. They kindly compensated us with a bottle of wine.
