Lombera Apartamentos

The beds were comfortable, and the place was close to the hot springs, but I wouldn't recommend staying here with a dog. Our apartment was barely clean, and the blankets on the terrace were so dirty we couldn't use them. We never left our dog alone, yet at 12:45 a.m. we were woken by a very rude call accusing us of leaving her barking and scratching at the door. Other dogs were barking in the building too.

We paid 160 euros per person for two nights. The apartment was very clean and cozy, right in the center of Arnedillo, with parking. The bedrooms are large and each has its own bathroom. There's also a kitchen and a small living room.

The midnight call about a supposed complaint over our dog was the worst part. She was with us, and we'd paid the required fee. The call felt awkward and judgmental. If pets are allowed, occasional barking from a dog seems understandable, just as a cat might meow, so we didn't feel pets were fully welcome. The apartment itself was fine with ordinary wear, though cleanliness could've been better: there was a bloodstain on the duvet and hair in the bathroom.

Raúl was lovely and kept checking that we were comfortable and had what we needed during our five days in the apartment. The surroundings are beautiful, and having a kitchen was a real help. We explored other towns each day, then made dinner in the evenings and saved money. I'd happily come back and recommend it. Best wishes, Raúl.
