We had an ideal stay in Isla, and hope to come back soon. The hostess and her family were charming, and Eva clearly puts a lot of care into running the hotel. It's a real success for her business, and I hope it stays that way for a long time. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully decorated and had a small balcony. The daily cleaning was very thorough. We could use the common areas, where there's a refrigerator and kitchenware for making a quick dinner. It's pet-friendly too, and their dog Jordi couldn't be more affectionate. Breakfast on the terrace was spectacular: coffee, juice, toast, pastries and homemade jams made by Eva herself. It's a very well-kept rural house, with unbeatable value for money for the area. We visited in summer, when the village had a lovely evening atmosphere. It's a beautiful place, the locals are friendly and the food is fantastic. The country house is charming, and the owners make you feel at home. Marcos and Eva are always happy to give advice, help with whatever you need, or just have a pleasant chat. Everything was spotless, too.

We came away feeling at home from the moment we arrived at Villa Castellanos. My wife, our pet and I traveled together, and the cozy cottage was clean and very well looked after. Its location on Isla was just right for relaxing and unwinding. Eva, the owner, was kind and attentive throughout, and you can see how carefully she looks after every detail. Her breakfasts were spectacular, generous and high quality, with everything homemade. 😋 We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for peace, warm hospitality and an authentic experience in Cantabria.

Villa Castellanos was a perfect place to stay in Cantabria. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the location is lovely. Eva and Marcos, thanks for having us these past few days and making us feel at home. Eva, your breakfasts were amazing, and you helped us with everything we needed. I hadn't known the Isla area before, and now it feels like paradise. Villa Castellanos is beautiful and cozy, and Eva is lovely. The breakfasts in the garden were delicious and the best antidote to stress. I can't fault anything, it's been an unforgettable few days. I hope to return soon.
