Hotel Palacio Conde del Álamo

Really comfortable 👍

We were a group from Coria del Río and stayed for three days and two nights. The hotel is in the old town, beside Aroche Castle, with lovely views. Our room was large, clean, and very nice, and the staff were lovely. There was a swimming pool, air conditioning, and live music and entertainment in the evenings. The food was good, with generous portions, so seconds were available but hardly needed. I’d definitely return and recommend it. Hope this helps other guests.

We were a group of 37 from Santiponce, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and very well looked after. Everyone who helped us was attentive, kind, and ready to assist. We felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the couple of nights we stayed. One thing to know before arriving: this is a mountain town, with lots of hills and cobbled streets. They’re beautiful, but that could make getting around harder for anyone using a wheelchair, walker, crutches, or cane. A small improvement would be better lighting in the patio overlooking the pool. At one point it was quite dark, which could feel unsafe or make it difficult for the older people in our group to move around. An overhead light or another lighting option might help. That was a minor issue in an otherwise excellent stay. Thanks to everyone, we’d gladly return and recommend the hotel.

The nicest part of our three-day stay was how warmly everyone treated us. Raúl, the driver we met first, Agueda, our guide, and the waitresses were all wonderful and made the trip so enjoyable. We also had a fun time with the North to South group. The hotel itself was beautiful and peaceful, and the food, room, and location were all just right. It was a lovely surprise. Thanks for such a fabulous few days.
