Apartamentos Sol Mar

The beachfront location made the stay even nicer, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Our balcony was lovely, and the room had everything we needed to be comfortable and even cook. It's a beautiful, cozy hotel that looked just like the photos. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily return.

A Spanish singer sits on a bench by the seafront and plays every day until 11 at night. The amplified volume is so deafening it's unbearable, and it makes you not want to holiday here. It's hard to understand why this is allowed. We hear plenty of music around Tenerife and usually find it pleasant, but we can't understand how this man is permitted to play at such an exaggerated volume every night.

It's easy to walk around from here, with friendly staff, a quiet atmosphere at night, and straightforward access to the waterfront. The location is great and the price was good. If I come back to Tenerife, I'll stay here again.

The kitchen was genuinely useful, the balcony felt cosy, and the cleaning was great. For what I paid, I was happy with the stay, though a few fixes would have made it perfect. We were missing scissors, the kitchen fan and the light beside it didn't work, and the toilet door wouldn't lock. A bit of soundproofing around the front door would help too. We did find a cockroach in the suite, which I’m sure came in from outside through the balcony. I know that may be beyond the hotel’s control, but having insect spray available would have made it easier to deal with. Since we were on the top floor, a table fan would have been handy in the heat. An HDMI cable attached to the TV would also be nice, since few people bring one on holiday.
