Apartment in Torres de Yomely Complex

We’re a young couple who travel a lot and are used to nightlife, but we found this apartment impossible to put up with. The noise from music and the street continued until morning, even with the windows shut, and we couldn’t sleep. The place looked nice at first, but it was poorly maintained and felt like guest comfort didn’t matter. The bed was two single mattresses that kept separating, leaving a big gap. We had to ask for a blanket because there was only a thin sheet used as a duvet. For a two-week stay, we expected bathroom products, basic kitchen supplies like salt and simple condiments, and cleaning products. None were provided. We also found a large cockroach inside the washing machine. The toilet tank leaked whenever flushed, the boiler provided only 2-3 minutes of hot water, and a kitchen cupboard smelled moldy and stale. The bed, wardrobe, sofa, carpet and balcony furniture were all old and worn. The bedroom curtain was too small to block the light. During our two weeks, nobody cleaned the room or changed the sheets or towels. We had no internet for the entire stay, which was unacceptable in 2025 when we needed it for remote work. We contacted the owner many times, but nothing was fixed. The owner rents several similar apartments in the same two blocks, so be careful. We understand issues can happen, but the lack of action, poor upkeep and basic hospitality made the stay extremely unpleasant. I do not recommend this accommodation and strongly advise future guests to avoid it.
