Gran Oasis Resort

The hotel has a lot going for it. We enjoyed the design, atmosphere, rooms, and shared areas, and had a good stay as a family. But the food was the clear low point, and we found it very disappointing. Breakfast smelled strongly of garlic, which was unpleasant first thing in the morning. Some items didn't seem properly cleaned, the rolls were dry, and the quality overall was poor. Dinner was worse. After three days we complained and stopped eating at the hotel because we weren't enjoying it. We were surprised that so many other guests seemed unbothered by the food. It's a shame, because the hotel itself is great and has plenty of potential. Better food quality and hygiene would make a big difference.

The staff were so helpful, and a big thanks to Christian behind the bar. He's a credit to the company. The rooms are lovely, and there's so much food that you never go hungry. This was my first stay and I couldn't fault it. I'll definitely visit again.

We were a family group of nine: six adults, children aged one, two, and eight. The kids all had enough to keep them entertained, and evenings brought a different dinner theme each day. Food was decent, the staff were great, and our room was cleaned daily. The rooms were a good size and spread over two floors. All-inclusive drinks and food ran until 11pm, and the place was nice and quiet, not rowdy. It's a good walk to Christianos and Americas. The walk there is fine, but with the fairly steep hill we took taxis back, which cost about six euros.

The all-inclusive food was five-star, honestly, and the suite was top notch, even with a kitchen. We only used the kettle for early tea. There's daily pool entertainment and evening entertainment for the kids, plus shops, a games room, a ladies' boutique by the pool, and a spa treatment we enjoyed. A free coach to the parks and beach was handy, too. We're grandparents and had a busy holiday, but loved every minute. The resort was super clean and the staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was the metal chairs scraping in the conservatory. That was down to guests, not staff, so we ended up sitting indoors instead. If you've got kids, book this. Five stars from us.
