Las Americas Family Inn

It feels like a little community, since everyone shares the big house, and the atmosphere is really nice. The Family Inn was extremely clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, a large balcony and spacious shared bathrooms. The pool area is lovely, and the beach is only a short walk away. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable, with a memory foam mattress and pillows. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

Suzanne was lovely when she met us and showed us around, and she dealt with our WhatsApp query quickly. The location and welcome were great too. The downside was the damp: two of the three basement rooms and the basement bathroom had mould growing from the ceiling.

I stayed at paraso royal, and Los Americas has lost its sparkle for me after all these years of visiting. There was rubbish around the area morning, noon and night, and the place smelled strongly of urine. I also saw people relieving themselves against walls and trees. There are many African vendors selling their wares there, and it seemed they had nowhere else to go.

We had a great little base for our stag trip, with plenty of room for 13 people, a pool, a big kitchen and several toilets. We never got our deposit back, though no damage had been caused.
