Penthouse Palm Mar

Palm-Mar is quiet and suits people who like peace, but there’s not much atmosphere or entertainment. It’s mostly luxury apartments, and the beach is quite small. I’d recommend a rental car if you want to find a different atmosphere somewhere else.

Palm Mar is a small resort on Tenerife’s southern tip, only a few kilometres from the main tourist centres of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. It’s a good fit if you want somewhere quiet that still feels touristy. There are plenty of nearby bars and restaurants, plus supermarkets and other shops. A range of apartments makes it easy to have a relaxing holiday. I recommend the Margherita House apartment.

A little village where luxury sits alongside the surrounding natural beauty. It’s lovely walking around with your pets, almost as if you’re alone. There are a few restaurants and small supermarkets, plus a pharmacy and ATMs, so you can get by locally without taking the car. Go for a walk in the morning and again at sunset.

Fantastic spot by the ocean, and a great base for visiting all of Tenerife, including El Teide volcano. A wonderful experience.
