Playaflor Chill Out Resort, a 50 mtrs de la playa

The location is the one good thing, right among ATMs, pubs, discos, the beach, mini golf and everything else, all less than 2 minutes away. It's an okay place, but the staff aren't friendly, there's loud music until 5am, and if you ask them to look after your keys, they won't.

The big issue is the clubs playing noise until 6am, so I'd recommend this place only if noise doesn't bother you. Otherwise it's a great budget holiday spot, right opposite Victoria's strip with all the nightclubs. Each apartment has two levels and its own roof garden. The staff are very friendly, the kitchen has a fridge and hot plates, and it's very close to the sea.

The only nice part was the ocean view from the terrace. Bars across the road played music until 4 am, and it was far too loud even with earplugs. We had ants in the kitchen, and the place wasn't clean. The shower was uncomfortable, there was no soap or shampoo, water leaked from the bath, and the toaster was broken. There was never anyone at the bar. When I finally managed to get someone to make me a drink, I waited half an hour, and they didn't know how to make them. The area seemed unsafe, with shady people hanging around outside at night. Not worth the money.

This place was perfect for us, right in the thick of a lively area, with nice enough rooms and reasonable prices. The pool is great, and I really liked the e budda designs. I'd stay again. It lost a star because the cleaner could do better. If you're older and don't like a lively location, loud music and stairs, it probably isn't for you. Good value for money and a young person's dream.
