Regency Heights at Neptuno

The food was the best hotel food we’ve had, cooked to order, and we could happily eat there every day. Staff were very good, and the pool was great, with sun loungers always available, which is rare. You’ll need a taxi or bus to reach the beach, about a 10-minute drive and roughly 10€. For me, that distance makes the hotel quieter and better for a relaxing family holiday. We were so impressed that we’ll definitely return and are even considering buying an apartment.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast was really nice and great value, and dinner in the restaurant was very good too. It’s a shame the entertainment was cancelled because not many people wanted it. Our apartment felt old fashioned, shabby, and dirty, with uncomfortable beds. It was a large, upstairs-downstairs kind of place that needs a proper clean and refurbishment. The pool was absolutely freezing, definitely not heated.

The facilities are well kept and the atmosphere is relaxing, with really friendly staff. Anna at reception was especially helpful, booking taxis and offering advice about things to see and do. Getting up and down to the main strip became a bit frustrating after a week, but I’d still recommend it for a quiet, relaxing break. I’d definitely go back.

My wife and I have just come back from 10 days at Chyofa Country club, and it was lovely. The suite was spacious and clean, and the food was extremely good. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly. The weather was beautiful, though the pool was very cold. One receptionist was a little abrupt and unpleasant, though it may have been a language issue. I’d most likely return.
