The one good thing was how clean it was. But the listing said there was air conditioning, and there wasn't. It was unbearably hot, and for two days we had no water at all, not even to drink or shower. The manager didn't tell us about it. Getting to the beach meant going down more than 140 steep steps, which got really annoying. On the first day, the bathroom water was dripping and flooding everything.
The place itself was okay, but the location wasn't great. Without a car, you may have to climb 300 steps to get there from the center or beach. The manager found my friend on social media using her booking name, then harassed us. He started by contacting one of us and switched the chat to disappearing messages. We screen-recorded the conversation and blocked him, but soon after he began harassing another person in our group too. We tried to check out on time because we had other plans, but couldn't because he was passed out and drooling in the communal area after a party. Wouldn't recommend it.
The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, and the staff were really nice. I loved this place, 5/5.
It turned out better than I'd expected.
We’d happily stay at Tango House again. Ruthi made us feel welcome, and the staff were professional and helpful throughout. The terrace has a wonderful view, the bathroom is lovely, and the bed was so comfortable we slept really well. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants close by. A special place in Los Cristianos.
