The restaurant is right in the same house, and I loved its cosy, fireplace-warmed atmosphere. The food is regional, with a good wine selection. We stayed two nights at Casa Aldaba and felt really at ease. The rooms are cosy and romantic, and the beautiful surroundings have plenty of walks and hiking routes.

The walk back to the parking area is quite a hike, especially up the steep hill, since cars aren't allowed into town. Still, the service was excellent, and the food was tasty and well prepared. The menu also has plenty to choose from beyond the usual steak, lamb, and chorizo that seem to fill so many restaurant menus around the world.
