Best to stay somewhere else.

The family made us feel so welcome, and the cottages were spotless, even cleaner than many star-rated hotels I've stayed in. We were there for a weekend with another couple, and the cottages were comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was ideal in summer, while the fireplace made things cozy when it was cold. It's also well situated near the village. Such a charming place.

The garden and swimming pool sit in a lovely rural setting, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. Our cabin was built into the wall of a natural balcony, looking out toward a usually shallow river and a footpath. It felt warm and comfortable in winter and cool in summer. There was a fireplace, kitchenware, a heater, and a fully equipped bathroom with a hairdryer and towel. We'll definitely return.

The river, the animals, and all the charming little corners of the property made for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The location is magnificent. One thing let us down: there’s no reception or anyone around to answer questions. The keys are left in the door, and with several houses to choose from, you have to work out which one you rented. That’s why we’ve given it four stars.
