We found it handy for watching the kayak race, and the campsite has barbecue spots and quite clean bathrooms. You can do laundry there too, though you’ll need coins. The restaurant was pretty good and takes cards, but it doesn’t serve sidra, which disappointed us. At reception and in the supermarket you can only pay cash, so bring some. It’s a beautiful spot, not too crowded, and worked well for our family and friends. The people running it are very friendly. Book ahead, especially in August when lots of people come for the race.

There’s a small shop and a busy café-restaurant, and the campsite is in the municipal area with all the amenities, just a short walk from the shops. The level tent pitches have some shade, and the services are clean and good. The only downside for me was the noise until midnight. I still can’t get used to how late people stay up here in Spain 😀.

The canoe trip down the Sella is worth the money, and you can book it at reception. The river is easy to access, even for young children and pets, which may be why you came here. The campsite itself is small, with small pitches, a bar with limited choices, and a room they call a “supermarket.” Don’t bother with that, though. A decent supermarket, restaurants, and shops are just 300 meters over the bridge in central Arriondas.

A decent place for campervans, with a clean bathroom and hot shower. The beef cheek at the restaurant was delicious. Cash only!

After canoeing on the Sella River, we stopped at the restaurant for a tasty meal that was good value. We’ll try to come by again soon.
