We went with another couple and their little girl, and had a good time. The place is clean, quiet, well equipped, and in a good location, with a pool in what feels like a gated community. The pool was small for the number of apartments, but our daughter and we still enjoyed it. It’s somewhere we’d return to. Number 8

We never saw anyone when we left, so we put the keys on the table. Earlier, they hadn't greeted us at all and had left the keys in a flowerpot. The beds were another mess: we'd booked two singles and a double, but got two doubles, and when we called, nobody offered a fix. We ended up sleeping on the sofa and using whatever we could find in the drawers. The whole stay was a disaster.
The town is an interesting base, and the nearby mountain biking and hiking trails are excellent. The accommodation itself was a very poor experience, though. The listing said three beds, but we found two bedrooms with two beds in each, plus a sofa bed, and the sheets didn't fit the beds or the sofa bed. When we raised the problems, the manager said, "You must be used to 5-star hotels, and that's why we're complaining." This wasn't the owner, and the manager didn't come talk to us or answer our calls during the stated hours. I'm trying to keep this review objective, but I mostly mean it as a warning.
When I asked to meet the next day, which was also our departure day, the manager said I was "very delicate" and demanded too much. He even suggested I must have a university degree because of how I speak, and said that was why I expected so much. I'd called because of the lack of reception, attention, and beds, as well as the calls at odd hours. We'd booked a two-bedroom apartment for three friends, with two single beds and one double so everyone could have their own bed. Instead there were two double beds. The manager said we could pull a hard mattress from behind a closet or use the sofa bed. The owner, Jesús, apologized when we spoke to him, but no one arranged a solution. We used the sofa bed without bedding and made do with whatever was around the house. The sheets we found didn't fit, as the photos show. Our booking said we'd arrive between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. That day the manager, Jose, told us not to call between 3:00 and 5:00 because he would "silence the phone." We got there at 5:15 and no one was waiting for us. When we called, he directed us to his house in the village to collect the key from a flowerpot. The reservation instructions said the second payment was due at the key collection point on arrival, but since nobody met us, that hadn't been arranged. At 10:00 PM the following day, the manager called wanting to meet that evening. He didn't say why, so I could only assume it was about the outstanding payment. Because of the late hour, I suggested the next day instead.
The village is lovely, and the house is in a really good spot. Inside, though, the beds are uncomfortable and the sheets don't fit them. It also misses a lot of the basic things you'd normally expect in a rural guesthouse, especially in the bathroom and kitchen.
