I raised all of these concerns through the booking service while we were still at the property. They said the complaint had been sent to management and someone would contact me, but nobody did, either during the stay or at checkout. There was no follow-up on the issues I reported. We stayed only two nights. If it had been longer, we would have checked out immediately, even if that meant losing the money. The hotel felt uncomfortable and fundamentally unsafe. The most alarming issue was how the staff handled my card details. The room was fully prepaid, yet they insisted on manually copying the card number and CVV from my screen, saying it was for possible minibar charges. That felt completely unacceptable. Hotels should use secure preauthorization instead of recording private banking details, and now I feel my financial information may have been compromised. The bathroom gave us no privacy. There was a huge gap in the window blinds, so from the toilet or shower you could see the street, and people outside could see in. At check-in, we were exhausted but left waiting for 20 minutes while two receptionists chatted casually with other guests about travel plans. I don't understand why the second receptionist couldn't help us. The only lobby chair was piled with someone else's things, so we had to stand with our bags. It was also my birthday, and although I wasn't expecting a parade, nobody even said 'Happy Birthday.' That lack of basic courtesy made it feel as if they didn't care about guests. The room was tiny, and two people couldn't move around at once. There was technically a balcony, but the door only opened a crack before hitting the bed, and there wasn't enough room to get out onto it. A second door or window farther back was impossible to reach unless you were a child. Since we couldn't open a window for fresh air, we had to use the AC, which blew straight at my face in bed and couldn't be adjusted. The pillows and linens felt like the cheapest quality, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. There was no soundproofing: from 8:00 AM, cleaners shouted and banged equipment right outside our door, and I could hear every word. Sleeping was impossible. This was by far the worst hotel stay I've had. I wouldn't stay here; I left exhausted and worried about my card information and privacy.
