I had a pleasant stay for a very affordable price. The place was easy to find, in a quiet area and just a three-minute walk from the free parking lot. The room itself was quite small, which was fine, but the window at number 12 was tiny and made it feel like there was no air in the room. The booking pictures showed bigger windows for the room I chose. The soap was almost empty, and the floor hadn’t been cleaned.

The finish and styling are outstanding, and the accommodation was incredibly clean. It’s simply fantastic, and I’d certainly recommend staying here. There’s a shared kitchen and fridge area, which is great to have. Parking is free and only a few minutes’ walk away.

The value for money is hard to beat. Cyclists should know there aren’t many bike storage options. We had to take our bikes up to the first floor and keep them in the room. Noise was the other downside. We could hear everything from the street and from upstairs, so light sleepers, be prepared.

There was no reception desk, and no one answered the phone. We also hadn’t received an email with the entrance code, so getting into the building took an hour even though our check-in time had been confirmed. The rooms felt a bit like cells, with small windows and little space. The WiFi barely worked, and there isn’t really any network in that area, so asking guests to contact them by WhatsApp isn’t helpful. The place has been newly renovated, but I didn’t enjoy the experience, especially for the price of the room.
