I was disappointed by the lack of privacy. The owner lives upstairs, which the listing doesn’t mention, and can see all the outdoor areas from there. He also came across as curt and intrusive. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and the surroundings are pleasant, but the cleaning needs work, with cobwebs everywhere. The pool is a long way from the terrace and barbecue area. I wouldn’t recommend it if privacy matters to you.

We found it really convenient to work at this beautifully restored farmhouse as caterers. The house is lovely for guests and events, and the setting is breathtaking. The old chapel right beside the house is especially notable and would be ideal for weddings. Highly recommended for family gatherings.

The owner lives in the same house, and during our weekend there we felt watched the whole time. He intruded into our private space several times, which made the stay unpleasant. The house itself is alright, but the cleanliness could be better. I wouldn’t go back.

There’s plenty of room for a group, with five bedrooms and several beds in each, sleeping up to 18. The dining room and kitchen are large, and there’s also a terrace and barbecue. The farmhouse is well cared for and has what you need, so we’ll definitely return. Getting to the pool means leaving the house, with no direct access, and there are stairs to get in. We had a stroller and were going up and down constantly, so it’s not a good fit for anyone with reduced mobility. The furniture is very old too. Some bed frames have broken slats, and the wardrobes looked like they belonged to my great-grandmother. Still, for a few days, it’s enough.
