A terrible place, full of mould. The smell is awful, and it’s throughout the house, soaked into the furniture, bedding, walls, and even the balcony. After one night, all your things will smell of it. The pool is tiny and very cold. The shower’s hot water lasts only a few minutes, there’s a leak, and the tap is broken. The equipment and furniture are old and worn out, and the apartment is dark and uncomfortable. Avoid it.

The garden and pool are fantastic, and the apartment has all the essentials. The balcony views are spectacular too. The ratings don’t do this wonderful place justice if you’re visiting Gran Canaria.

We were so glad the owner of Bella Vista could fit us in at the last minute after our other Booking accommodation had been double booked. Having coffee on the balcony each morning and watching the sun rise over that beautiful view was a highlight. The outdoor space, with its pool, sauna, and garden, was gorgeous, roomy, clean, and well cared for. The pool was cleaned every day. It isn’t heated and was a bit cold in January, but after a little time in the sauna, it was perfect for a dip. There’s plenty of parking, and you do need a car to get around. The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a smart TV, comfy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. It had a fridge and freezer, coffee machine, hot water cooker, stove, microwave, oven, toaster, and utensils. We loved our six-night stay and would have happily stayed longer. We found no unpleasant smells, mold, or cameras. We’d been a bit anxious after reading some reviews, but honestly, I can only think they were fake or about a different place.

The rooms are lovely and fully furnished, and we feel very comfortable here. The location is beautiful, though a bit out of the way, so a car is recommended.
