I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place. They charge the price of a mountain chalet for a house in deplorable shape. It was filthy. Dust and dirt seemed to rise in clouds even near the floor, and we had to spend our first day cleaning. Nothing felt clean enough to sit on or put away in the kitchen or furniture. The furnishings were awful: patched chairs and sagging sofas that were very uncomfortable. In one of the houses, the armchairs were just mattresses against a wall, and were unbelievably uncomfortable. This wasn’t cozy at all. Rustic shouldn’t mean dumping old, discarded furniture and odds and ends into a house without any taste or order. The locks on both houses were faulty, and it took half an hour each time we tried to lock up. Outside, the pool and barbecue area was filthy and unpleasant to use, and the grounds were completely neglected. A real shame. The whole experience was thoroughly disappointing.
