The location is handy, right by the trail and close to supermarkets, and there’s Wi-Fi with no trouble. It cost €17 for a bunk. Beds have enough space between them, with several windows for ventilation, and a little outlet beside each bed makes charging your phone easy. Hot water in the shower was no problem after a long walk. There are a few books in the kitchen and lounge too. The place is decent and clean, though a few things could be better: bring your own shower towel, the induction cooktops don’t work so substantial cooking is difficult, and the lockers are too small for a full backpack. The disposable sheet didn’t fit the mattress and came off during the night. Still a decent option I can recommend to Camino walkers.

A little bit of pilgrim luxury in a fairly big town. It was delightful, clean, welcoming and very cute, with great showers and even hairdryers. The lockable cupboards, personal light, shelf and power point were all there too. What more could you want? 5/5 for everything!

The host was so kind and friendly, and I was surprised to have the place to myself when I arrived for one night in early April. It’s a small albergue in the centre of Arzua, with 22 beds. Everything was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen and lounge are fantastic, and the fireplace was a great bonus. Radiators in the room were much appreciated. Honestly, nothing but positives. Five stars!

David is an amazing “hospitalero” who makes you feel at home. The central heating was on, and there’s very hot water for a shower after a long day. The albergue is well equipped and in a great central location. They’re nice to you here, unlike most other places where you’re treated like a number.
