The Galician broth was the best I've ever had, and breakfast was delicious and made just for us. The rooms were cozy and clean, with lovely Galician charm, and the whole house feels like a fairytale, with care in every detail. Puri and Pilar are what make Vila Peregrina so special. Puri cooks beautifully and looks after you with so much warmth and generosity. Pilar is a joy to be around, always smiling and sorting things out with a reassuring kindness. This place feels like an experience that stays with you. I'd come back a thousand times. Thank you so much!

We were comfortable here, almost like being at home, and it's worth having your own car. Before arriving, I'd read the reviews and was honestly a bit reluctant, but I think some people are too harsh and demanding. The restored houses are lovely, done with taste and care. We had a homemade dinner that was delicious without being fussy, and Pilar and Puri were both very pleasant and attentive to what we needed. Sure, things could be improved. If you're after the Ritz, go to the Ritz.

Everything was clean and in good shape, apart from a couple of small maintenance problems: the microwave didn't work and a few bulbs were out. Puri and Pilar were lovely and made our family get-together really pleasant. Puri even improvised an amazing dinner for us. We'd definitely do it again.

We had to leave because there was a mousetrap and droppings, and insects were making noise inside the room ceiling. The hygiene and organization were poor. I wouldn't recommend staying here. It can spoil your trip, which makes this such a shameful experience.

Laura, the owner, welcomed us warmly, and Fernando is such a lovely person. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Dinner was delicious, and Laura even offered us a second bottle of wine, which was a big plus. They were kind to us from the moment we booked. I also appreciated that the breakfast juice was freshly squeezed, unlike at 95% of the places we've stayed. I'd definitely return!
