The stay was pleasant and the hotel spa was nice, though we never got comfortable on the overly soft mattress. The food choices were limited, especially for anyone allergic to seafood. At Filigrana, beef or lamb seemed to be the only suitable options, and the meal quality fell short of what we expected. We also hoped to find more Galician dishes, such as chorizo in red wine, raxo and padron peppers. A local tasting menu could help visitors discover the cuisine. The cafe's outdoor seats are so uncomfortable, which is a shame because it's a lovely spot for a drink or a bite.

After the Camino de Santiago, staying here felt like receiving a beautiful gift. The breakfast was exceptional, the spa excellent, and the staff both professional and genuinely caring. With its lovely interiors, peaceful atmosphere and nature around it, the hotel brought comfort to both body and eyes. It's one of the most beautiful places I've visited, and I'd happily return. It'll stay in my heart.

The hotel is stylish and atmospheric, with lovely details, beautiful rooms, a great spa and very good food. I had a wonderful massage from a Brazilian therapist, and I would still recommend staying here. The service, though, was a serious letdown. Check-in took ages, the receptionist seemed constantly confused, couldn't arrange a taxi and kept forgetting things. One staff member spoke very little English, which made things difficult. For a hotel with a Michelin Key and a place in the Relais & Châteaux collection, I can't understand why there's not even a basic toilet brush in the bathroom. Please take that into consideration.

We stayed four days and nights, and found the grounds lovely for relaxing. The hotel is in quiet woodland, yet only twelve minutes from Santiago de Compostela. The food was delicious, and the staff were helpful, warm and welcoming. There's also a great spa with a good range of treatments for both men and women. A lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

The river, birds and beautiful surroundings make this place so peaceful and romantic. It's perfect for relaxing, finding inspiration over a glass of wine, and enjoying the views. Ariceli gave outstanding, professional customer service and was a wonderful host. We travel all over the world, so we know how top her service is. At the restaurant, Carlos was attentive and made dinner a great experience. The comfort, atmosphere and service made us feel at home. We loved it and will come back. Thanks for everything ❤️😘
