Our host was terrific, kind and helpful about storing our bags and sorting out a bus to the airport. We'd gladly recommend staying here.

Check-in went smoothly, with all the instructions sent through the Booking app. The facilities were average, and there was some dust around. It's very close to Santiago Cathedral and the shops, but after 6 a.m. it was hard to rest because we could hear everything from the other rooms.

José was an excellent host, always looking for ways to improve things for guests. He even asked whether the bus from Finesterra takes bikes so he could pass that information along. The hotel has been in the family for three generations, and the rooms were clean. I also had a nice balcony and a safe place to leave my bike. Breakfast was tasty and cheap, 3,50€ for a bowl of coffee, meaning a giant cup, and toast with tomato. The location was excellent, and there's an elevator if you're injured or have lots of luggage. José also gave us helpful tips on places to eat and see.

The attic room was very hot, but I was glad to have a private room at the end of my Camino. The price was reasonable for what I got.
