The room key and entry were easy to get through messages, since it was Monday and the place was closed for their day off. They also pointed us to the park bar for food and a drink, as their own bar wasn't open. We managed to lock our bikes to the stair railing by the entrance without any trouble, though there wasn't another place to keep them. We were only there for one night on a cycling tour. The room was roomy and comfortable, but it faced the road. With the windows open, which we needed because there was no air conditioning, traffic was surprisingly loud all night. The shared bathroom had two toilets and two showers for the three rooms on that floor, plenty for us. The toilets were noisy when flushed, and we could hear them from our room next door.

The service has been really attentive in every way, and friendly too. I’d recommend stopping by or staying here with a group for a short time. One thing to keep in mind: the premises belong to the municipality and are regularly put out to tender, so my comments are about the current tenants. I don’t know what the service or treatment would be like if the manager changes.

Itziar made us some amazing combination plates and looked after us wonderfully. We’d stopped for a bite while passing through Bizkaia on our route, and I’d definitely recommend it.
